    Senior living at Covenant Village of Colorado means living independently while having on-site access to a comprehensive menu of health care services and long-term care. We meet the needs of our residents by providing the following levels of care:

  • Covenant Village of Colorado offers Skilled Nursing services to residents who require 24-hour nursing care.

  • What is a continuing care retirement community (CCRC)?
  • Independent living residences offer a maintenance-free lifestyle. Should your needs change over time, a continuing care retirement community gives you the confidence of knowing long-term care is available on site at predictable costs. We offer a range of levels of care for financial security and peace of mind.

Health Care & Medicine FAQs
  • Who is primarily responsible for health care and medical services at Covenant Village of Colorado?
  • The Healthcare Administrator is responsible for the Healthcare center. The Director of Nursing oversees the nursing care.

  • How does my Primary Care Physician fit into my healthcare program at Covenant Village of Colorado?
  • Your Primary Care Physician can continue to provide care for you in Assisted Living. Your physician must agree to come to the campus to visit you, and have a way for the office to answer calls 24 hours a day and on weekends. You may also choose one of the physicians who come to the campus to provide your care.

  • What happens if a resident requires hospitalization?
  • We will assist with arranging transfer to the hospital if it is required.

    • In Assisted Living, you continue to pay your monthly rent while you are in the hospital.
    • In Skilled Nursing, you will be asked if you would like to pay a bed hold to reserve your room during the time you are in the hospital

  • Is there a pharmacy at Covenant Village of Colorado?
  • There is no pharmacy on the campus.

    • In Assisted Living, you may use the pharmacy of your choice, or you may use our contracted pharmacy.
    • In Skilled Nursing, we have a contract pharmacy who provides all of our medication.

  • How does medical insurance coverage work at Covenant Village of Colorado?
  • Everyone’s coverage is different. Contact your provider for details.

    • Some people have Long-Term Care insurance that assists with the cost of Assisted Living. You must contact your insurance provider to see if you have coverage.
    • Medicare A may pay for “up to” 20 days of skilled nursing after a 3-night hospital stay with a qualifying diagnosis at 100%. Medicare A may cover “up to” day 100 but there is a required co-pay. Medicare coverage is evaluated daily to ensure that the resident continues to meet the requirements for coverage.
    • Long-term care insurance may cover some or all of the cost of custodial care in skilled nursing. You must contact your provider to determine coverage.

  • Are there any Social Service offerings or programming at Covenant Village of Colorado?
  • Yes, there is a full time social worker on staff. We provide a variety of activities 7 days a week.

  • If I am interested in living at Covenant Village of Colorado, where should I begin and who can help me through this process?
  • Contact the Sales Department at 877-811-3801 to schedule a personal appointment and tour. Our dedicated sales representatives are trained to help you explore your options for retirement living and guide you through the process. For Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing inquiries, please call the campus directly and we will connect you our knowledgeable sales team.

  • What is included in my contract at Covenant Village of Colorado?
  • We offer several residency agreement options to meet residents’ needs.

    • In Assisted Living, the contract includes room and board and basic assistance, light housekeeping, social services and activities. Additional assistance is available based on need at an additional cost.
    • Skilled Nursing includes room and board, 24-hour nursing care, housekeeping services, activities, social services, maintenance services and the services of a Registered Dietitian. Additional services are available, based on need, at additional cost.

Food & Dining FAQs
  • What is the dining program and how does it work?
  • We serve restaurant-style dining. A menu is available with daily selections—an individual is welcome to mix and match any items on the menu. Meals are included in the daily rate for Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing.

Lifestyle & Activities FAQs
  • How do residents at Covenant Village of Colorado find out information on activities, programming and upcoming events?
  • In Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing, each resident is provided a calendar of events scheduled for the month. This calendar is also enlarged and posted throughout the Healthcare center. The schedule for the day is also posted around the center.

  • Are there religious activities I can choose to participate in?
  • Yes, we have a wide variety of religious services available.

  • Does Covenant Village of Colorado offer any type of exercise or wellness classes?
  • Yes, we offer a variety of exercise and wellness classes daily in the Healthcare Center.

  • Yes, there is a library available for residents’ use in the Village Center on campus.
